About Everett

Sitting just 25 miles north of Seattle, Everett is perfectly located to access anything you would want to do in the Puget Sound area. For Cascade Loop travelers, Everett is the largest city you’ll encounter on your trip. It sits right on Interstate 5, the main north-south route through Washington, and right at the junction with Highway 2. The Snohomish River empties into Possession Sound on the north end of town and the waterfront area is home to industrial, recreational, and dining out options. Looking west across the water from Everett will give you of Whidbey Island. This is a large city with a lot to offer and very capable of showing you a good time.

There are a lot of ways to get outside when visiting Leavenworth, including multiple golf courses, lots of outdoor green space, and several places where you can get down to the water. Everett has an active waterfront and hanging out there for a meal or a drink, stretching your legs, or just watching the ships come in and out can be a lot of fun. The city also has a large shopping mall as well as both big name stores and locally owned shops to explore. There is also a long list of great places to eat and drink at while visiting there. Other popular attractions in Everett include several museums and art galleries, wineries, fishing charter opportunities, boat tours, arcades, a bowling alley, and more. Everyett has more than enough to keep you entertained during your time there.

Everett – The Surrounding Area

Everett is kind of a hub of for the local area with cities like Marysville and Mount Vernon to the North, Snohomish, Monroe, and Sultan to the east, Bothell, Kirkland, and Seattle to the south, as well as Coupeville, Clinton and Oak Harbor out on Whidbey Island to the west. Each of these places have great shopping and dining options. You can also ride the ferry from nearby Mukilteo to get out to the island or take a boat tour to explore this part of the Puget Sound. Other attractions in the area include hiking trails, museums, campgrounds, a casino and more. Finding something to do out and about in the area surrounding Everett is really very easy.
